2011 Meeting Workshops
Meeting Schedule
SVSA meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month, 7:00 pm, at the Third Street Coffeehouse in Roanoke (corner of Mountain Avenue and Third Street).
Our Meetings
Our meetings start with general news and information about upcoming events and such, a relevant reading or quote for discussion, a mini-workshop, and then song critiques.
Other Activities
We also bring in industry people and pro writers to do workshops on song crafting and performance. An SVSA Songwriters’ night is held once or twice a year at the Third Street Coffeehouse and we try to get a Songwriters' Showcase at another popular music venue during the year.
