Broadway's Greatest Hits will be performed in Moneta as the second part of the Labor Day weekend mini-music festival sponsored by SMAC. We are thrilled to present star vocalists Philip and Tara Bouknight performing with Maestro David Stewart Wiley at the Steinway piano on Sunday, September 5, 2010, at 3:00 PM at Trinity Ecumenical Parish.
The Program
This romantic afternoon of music will feature Broadway's greatest love songs from classic American musicals and the silver screen, with favorites by Gershwin, Bernstein, Lerner, Arlen, Rodgers, and more. The first half of the program will include pre-1950's classics like “The Man I Love,” “Stormy Weather” and “Over the Rainbow.” The second half will feature hits from the 1950's to the present from such highly popular shows as “The Sound of Music,” “West Side Story,” “South Pacific,” and “My Fair Lady.”
Tickets
The program for this afternoon of great music will last about two hours. Tickets are only $20, which includes a post-concert reception to meet the artists. Be sure to reserve your seats early. Last year's summer concert at Trinity Ecumenical Parish with Maestro Wiley and friends was a sell-out.
Tickets go on sale July 17 at the Smith Mountain Lake Visitor’s Center in Bridgewater Plaza just south of the Halesford Bridge or they can be purchased by sending your check and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to SMAC, PO Box 70, Moneta, VA 24121.

Trinity Parish is located on Highway 122 south of the Halesford Bridge at the intersection of 122 and Route 1235, Lakemount Road.
